The 2nd annual comedy fundraiser hosted by Pasadena Rosebud academy is the giggle fest you need to round out your summer
This year, the Pasadena Rosebud Academy is hosting it’s Summer Fundraiser post - Eaton Fire —setting themselves up for future success!
This cause is so near and dear to my heart for so many reasons! Here’s my laundry list:
My youngest son was a former student. We lived around the corner from the school before the Eaton Fire destroyed the campus and displaced over 175 students. The school is that low key connector and a perfect place to sync with a mixture of students from all over the city with a common goal of enhancing their educational goals through challenging curriculum.
The Executive Director and Founder is a G.O.A.T. (Yes, I used the term G.O.A.T.). She started the school on a mission to connect Black and Brown students in the community to opportunity. Twenty years later (!!!) Rosebud Academy is still thriving!
The school is a pillar in the Altadena community. If you’ve toured schools, you knew about Rosebud. Formerly a hidden gem acknowleged by only those in the know, it quickly became just a flat out gem.
This is my 2nd year helping the team create a successful event that raises money for their rebuild. I love the energy of the group—all with hearts of goal and a common mission.
Every laugh on July 12th will help rebuild Pasadena Rosebud Academy. If you are local to LA, we hope you can join us.
Goal: $500,000 for a new permanent facility.
